    I always dread New Year. Everyone seems to be having an amazing time whilst I am full of melancholy. It’s the realization that another year has gone by, without the ones we love. I am a former elementary teacher from London in the UK.  I taught in England for nine years before coming over to North Carolina on an exchange program where I met and married my school teacher husband.  I taught for a total of 21 years before starting my own business making crafts and resources to help educators in schools and home settings.
