    Easy Father’s Day Craft

    May 15, 2020 /

I always feel that dads and other important males in our students lives get a little bit left out of the parenting celebration. In my school district school is out roughly two weeks before Father's Day, and it ended up being forgotten in the hustle and bustle of field day and parties for many years. But then I realized that this craft was the perfect activity for the last days of school when you are scratching your head to find engaging assignments for your students.

    Celebration Time!

    May 10, 2019 /

It's testing season here, and to me that only means one thing. Stress. Stress for our teachers. Our principals. Our parents. But most of all, stress for our students.

It truly is a time when you can step back and see how the students have grown and pat yourself on the back – that is YOUR added value! But there is also a downside to May. . . drumroll. . . TESTING. Argh. Kinders in my district are tested in DIBELS and TRCs and also…
