Every summer I would spend hours perusing pinterest for the perfect classroom theme for the school year. So different choices, from llamas to cacti and even farmhouse! (I’m not sure that a Chip and Joanna Gaines shiplap classroom is particularly inspiring for students, but then again, each to their own!)
But the themes I love are the ones that have legs and can be revisited year after year. And the decor that I always come back to is camping. Here are some of the things I used in my classroom. There are links to purchase from TpT and Amazon. Enjoy!
Every campsite needs chairs! I like to put these in the book corner, along with a tissue paper/kitchen roll tube camp fire!
Welcome your students to you room with this fun door decor – we have s’more fun together!
How cute are these classroom jobs?

I check out as many camping themed/outdoor books that I can from our library. I love this one for older students:
And Llama Llama is a favorite with younger students:
I like students to feel that the classroom is theirs – that it reflects them more than it reflects me. So on day one they make their own campers and we display them.
You can’t blame me for wanting to keep them up all year! How cute is this bulletin board?
