Penguins were always part of the back to school study unit for my students. Whether we reading the Tacky the Penguin books, or writing facts about animals of Antarctica, this penguin craft was always a crowd pleaser, plus super simple to make!

It wouldn’t be winter without snow, and this snowman has recently been updated to include different writing options, including a step-by-step how to build a snowman template!

We all love the story of The Mitten, and this Jan Brett version is my favorite.
We pair it up with this mitten craft. For my preschoolers I let them cut and decorate as they wished, and for my older students we used the accompanying glyph key to display data about ourselves.
