New year is a time to set some goals and challenges for the coming months. Children (and adults!) often start with a big idea, and then lose sight of the goal because they don’t take the small incremental steps. Read books that talk about goal setting successes and failures with your students.
Asking students to set goals is hard, so breaking them down into four manageable targets makes them more achievable.
These simple flip books are only two pieces of paper – just print and get your students to color, cut, glue and set goals. Let them keep them to refer back to in the coming months.
If you are looking for a bulletin board craft that can be shared, then these fun students with their resolutions or writing about the new year might be just what you need. Simple to make, each student can be personalized to look as unique as your students! You can get this craft from my Teachers Pay Teachers store here.
Whatever the New Year holds for you, I wish you joy and peace in the year ahead!
